Graeme Hollinger, known fondly as G-Man, G-Money or G, to his friends and family, was a happy, loving soul with a natural gift for forming meaningful and lasting friendships. He found his greatest joy in being with others—whether playing sports or simply spending time in the backyard.
G spent countless hours in Centennial Park playing soccer, softball, and basketball, but it was the outdoor rink (ODR) that held his heart. Winter evenings and weekends often found him on the ice, playing shinny with friends and strangers alike. True to his spirit, he welcomed everyone to join in the fun—no matter their age or skill level. For Graeme, it was never too cold to skate.

Beyond playing, Graeme gave back to the ODR he loved so much. He volunteered countless hours shovelling snow, painting boards, and helping with late night floods—always eager to ensure the rink was in the best shape possible.
Graeme passed away on December 7, 2024, from diabetic complications. He would be filled with pride knowing that the community felt he was worthy of having his name forever tied to the ODR. His family certainly is.
Graeme was loved. His zest for life will be remembered. Always.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the MCPRA and the Arntfield family for sharing this special space, which also commemorates David.
Choose to smile, choose to care, choose to be genuine. Choose to be a Graeme
